BC BULLDOGS WIN IN CALGARY, ALBERTA
In a great afternoon in Calgary, the Men’s and Women’s sides from Alberta and British Columbia fought for bragging rights on the football field.
The day kicked off with the Alberta Women winning their inaugural clash with the BC Strom, 32-30. The game was the first trial for Canada Ravens as they prepare for the Rugby League World Cup later this year in Australia and judging by the standard the Ravens will be a force to reckon with!
Then at 3pm the BC Bulldogs took the men’s game 40-22.
A hard fought contest with plenty of positives for both sides.
Congratulations to all involved. Thanks to Alberta administration and to referee Thomas Hughes for a sterling job refereeing both games.
Congratulations to all involved!
