Commonwealth Games
Rugby League’s first Commonwealth Games Championship took place in 2014 as a lead in to the Glasgow Games. Canada was grouped with England, South Africa and eventual champions, Papua New Guinea, in the event.
The next Commonwealth Games Championship will be in 2018 in the Gold Coast.

Cabramatta Nines
Canada has been represented at the past two International Nines events held in Cabramatta, Australia by the Canada-Australian Rugby League.
The representative team is made up of CRLA players based in Australia for development purposes, Canadian Ex-Pats playing Rugby League in Australia, and Australian players eligible for Canada under the Rugby League International Federation’s Eligibility rules.
